So I saw and article on slashdot about a "BigDog" rebot. When I watched the video I became very afraid.

On Friday, if you missed it, there was a report buried on all the news outlets that vials of Ricin, a deadly poison; a poison so deadly that a pinhead of the stuff can kill an average person in a few hours, was found in a long term stay hotel in Las Vegas. http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/02/29/ricin.hotel/index.html
This happened on February 14th. We are just now finding out about it. BUT WE ARE TOLD NOT TO WORRY ! IT ISN'T TERRORISM!

Later reports have come out that the man is described as a " loner." We know how those people usually turn out don't we? We found out that there are several vials of this poison.

Let me take you give you a quick history trip. In August of 2001 on a sunny day the President of the United States got a message in his daily presidential briefings that : ' members of Al-Queda intended to hijack planes and use them as missiles against us.' After 9/11 Bush and thugs went into high gear with a new terrorist threat level. It seemed like anytime they wanted to distract us they raised the level and warned us we were all going to die. It seems that Bush loved to get us all worried when there was nothing to fear.. when they knew there were immanent attacks, Bush told NORAD to stand down and tried to suppress the 9/11 commission. Now.. and this is the good part.. Bush wants the Govt to give retroactive immunity to the Telecommunications industry for spying on us.. spying that they did BEFORE 9/11.

Uhhh.. I maybe slow. But Bush said what they did was completely legal.. if it is legal then why do they need immunity???? Using their logic of The Patriot Act ( amazing that a complex document of over 900 pages was made in under 48 hours.. I digress) if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear.

But Bush said he needs the immunity law to fight terrorism.. again they have no documentation to prove they saved us from anything ( Why there might be legions of breast milk filled mothers wanting to take over!)...Bush wants a bill to give the powerful communications industry a free ticket.. and if he doesn't get it then he won't sign the bill... which according to his logic would put us in jeopardy with those terrorists that he says are out to get us.. .BOTTOM LINE... he would rather save AT and T then protect us from terrorists. At least he is obvious about what side he is on.

So now we have a loner, with guns, and books on how to bring down the government.. but Bushy tells us not too worry.... I don't know about you..but from the way these nut jobs operate I think it is time to worry. 323 days left until the Porky Pig of a President leaves office ( if he does that.. I don't think he will) but if and when he does it will take decades to undo the mess that he and his corporate cronies and inept bureaucrats have done to this country.

On the good side we will all be dead by the time we have to pay all the bills. Your grandchildren will pick it up for his spending spree...and I am sure our new Chinese Commie masters will harvest only one of their kidneys to pay off this debt. At least the rich will have their homes, their yachts, their bank accounts.....

Are you smarter than a 1st grader? Not all U.S. adults are. Answer me this, why did the pilgrims leave England to come to America? We all know the answer to this one. To escape religious persecution. Yet the writer of this rather pathetic chain e mail is apparently unaware of this.

This person is rather bombastic and indignant about there being "others" in this nation who believe differently than he does. While on the surface it may sound all good to be proud of the accomplishments of rich Christian White men in the founding of this nation. Indeed, some good things were done. It is rather duplicid to ignore the fact that there were similar "good Christians were putting small pox into blankets and then distributing them to the native Americans. This is the very first documented case of Germ Warfare in the world. It was important to these Christians to eliminate the "red man" so that this nation be a Christian nation. To them, the means of ethnic cleansing is justified.

Don't forget that President Andrew Jackson who claimed to be a deeply moral man had no problems with shooting anyone who left him. Be it slave or soldier. History is filled with the hypocritical pious. Heck, just watch the news there seems to be some pillar of society who was caught naked putting their pee pee where they shouldn't. Yes, people are people and it is what happens to people. However, when you place yourself out there as a moral guidepost to others and you screw up... then they are fair game. To expect that you can tell others how to live their lives and not expect the same in kind from the masses is ludicrous.

The original writer, whom I think is a guy ( I will say he is a guy. He seems to be pretty self absorbed. Women don't tend to be so self centered as this guy is.) is ludicrous. One of those small people who haven't seen much of the world. What they have seen, scares them. So he and his ilk will lie and pull crap out their ass and pass it along as truth. To feel better somehow about themselves and their beliefs.

I just am tired of running across the ranting's of the addle brained.We are bombarded with crap like this all the time. We are tired all tired. We get it from everywhere, from Brittany Spears to administrative crimes on a daily basis that we are too tired to weed it all out. I am not one of those people who accept what is put before them as fact. I am of the belief there are a lot of people who have an agenda. And it is to make everyone else's life hell in order to make them feel better about themselves.

As you read over the Snopes reply to these urban legends it should demonstrate to you gentle reader, that I am correct when I speak of the agendists. Add to the fact they will make crap up or are so illiterate they will pawn off their kindergarten education as something to be proud of. Fine if you are 5, it is another thing when you are 35.
At the end of the e mail the half wit ventures out on his own into really deep water. He has to think and make a cogent argument. Which, as you will have to note, he fails on all accounts.

B)Therefore, it is very hard to understand
why there is such a mess about having the Ten

on our money and having God in the Pledge of

B) What mess? Is this a problem? I have seen nothing about this anywhere in the news. And I am a news junkie. As a quasi agnostic existentialist with Buddhist leanings I really don't care what the hell is on our dollar or that people want to pray. It is tradition. I can buy into tradition as easily as the Christians have bought into believing that December 25th is not PAGAN. So what? The Pledge of Allegiance however, is another thing. That was only added during the Eisenhower years. If I had my druthers I would have it changed to one nation under Constitution. For which it stands.....

..... but, I think there are more pressing issues that we need as a nation to turn are attention to. The care of our returning Vets, providing Health care for all Americans are far more important issues then to send out silly urban myth e mails to an unsuspecting public as the one I just read.... Please E mail your congressman and demand that our Vets deserve better care than they are get better care. I disagree with the policies of the Bush Administration and their ideology and methods in this war. It does not affect my believe that we as citizens owe our soldiers proper care for their commitment to doing their duty. It'd not their fault that Bush is a criminal.

Now, who wants to place odds on the possibility that the original writer of the chain e mail is single, over 35, a virgin and collects Hello Kitty memorabilia? Anyone?

I usually dont reply to chain mail but I'll make an exception for one that suggests that the last 220 years of american history have been constitutional. We need to free our country of judgmental christian leaders who have no tolorence for the world. Not only has our history been smeared with greed, racism, war and everything that should be against christianity it aslo has been supported and led by the christian leaders that this email promotes. I will see if JZ wants to comment on this, maybe he can put the holier than thou jack christians in their place, maybe he can convince them to be a little more God like, or at least a little more accepting.

A picture began circulating in November. It should be 'The Picture of the Year,' or perhaps, 'Picture of the Decade.' It won't be. In fact,unless you obtained a copy of the US paper which published it, you probably would never have seen it.

The picture is that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by surgeon named Joseph Bruner.

The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother's womb. Little Samuel's mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta . She knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville , he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb.

During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. As Dr.Bruner completed the surgery on Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger. Dr.Bruner was reported as saying that when his finger was grasped, it was the most emotional moment of his life, and that for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen, totally immobile.

The photograph captures this amazing event with perfect clarity. The editors titled the picture, 'Hand of Hope.' The text explaining the picture begins, 'The tiny hand of 21-week- old fetus Samuel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother's uterus to grasp the finger of Dr.. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life.'

Little Samuel's mother said they 'wept for days' when they saw the picture. She said, 'The photo reminds us pregnancy isn't about disability or an illness, it's about a little person.'Samuel was born in perfect health, the operation 100 percent successful.
